Disney World, Universal Studios and the U.S. tourism industry brace for coronavirus

For much of February, Walt Disney World has been packed with crowds, long after the Christmas trees and New Year’s glitter were taken down.

But behind the scenes, concerns run in the theme park industry whether the coronavirus will hurt the industry’s next upcoming lucrative time of spring break.

The 2020 Disney Marathon was the hottest on record. One runner got through it with a stranger’s kindness.

Did you run the Disney Marathon this year? It was the hottest one on record since the signature race through Disney’s theme parks began in 1994.
